Sideshifter Thruster


I have the exterior hardware for the Sideshifter installed. However, since I am placing the batteries under the dinette, the cables are not heavy enough. My options:

Add to the cables with same size. Total will be about 12’ run
add heavier cables to the original cables, so two different sized cables.
Cut original cables back to where they come through the hull and use O sized cables?

This is a 24V system using 2 12V 900CCA batteries set up in series.

Suggestions?
