Wish I knew how many times I am asked what is the water temp before we go swimming. Problem is I need to power up the depth sounder and the chart plotter not to mention power them down when done. Came across this rather inexpensive oled unit that is easy to install and discrete. I will mount in the transom doors where my shore power is located as this is right beside the door leading to the swim platform. Pretty easy to install and with a small momentary push button located beside it, just push to get the temp reading. Again this comes from the reverse side of the world so it will be late summer before I report back.
