Post PROPS for 1988 3207 aft cabin

Can anyone help me find the correct props for a 1988 aft cabin? I'm super green. I know I need to either repair or replace the props, so I'm thinking about sending off the damaged one and then also buying a new set so I'll have a backup in the future. I could use recommendations for a place to send my props to get repaired as well as the specs of the props I should buy. Sorry if I'm asking the wrong questions and thanks for helping!

Post What have I done?!

I just bought a 1988 carver aftcab 32' liveaboard. I've never owned a boat before and I actually plan on fixing this up to live on it full time, at least for the summer. 35 year old single man so figure if I'm going to do this, now is the time. Glad I found this forum, I will probably need some advice and support!

*Pictures were not sideways when I uploaded them, not sure how to orient the attachments on here sorry*

Post Onan generator runs with no fuel pump?!?

I’ve had intermittent issues with our Onan 10KW generator model MDKWB (diesel) tripping the DC control circuit breaker (the 10amp red breaker) shortly after startup. Finally dug into it last weekend and this is what I discovered.

I traced it to a high current draw on startup and by process of elimination narrowed it down to the electric fuel pump. And during that process, after disconnecting the electrical leads to the fuel pump, I started the generator to monitor the current draw. I expected ...

Post Mounting the compressor to the pan

I have a 16k marine air that I believe someone has replaced the compressor on. The pan that the compressor sits on has 3 studs to secure the compressor. This compressor is only attached to 1 of the 3 studs. Seems the replacement compressor had a different footprint and someone didn't address this. The rubber isolators on the compressor seem to be in good condition. I need to try and secure it, it's really loud!

My idea is to fill the isolators with silicone and then run a self tapping screw w ...

Post Spark plug wires not matching up to diagram

So attached is the original manual firing order and dist cap wiring diagram. I decided to finally number my wires and they are nowhere near what the manual says. Not having any issues but, when I do, this may cause a problem. I.E., the #1 wire is the 3rd cylinder from the rear of the engine on the starboard side if your facing the fly wheel. None of the other wires seem to match up to the diagram either. What would be the reason?

Post 1984 crusader 350s - attach to NMEA 2000?

Hello fellow Enthusiasts -
1984 Carver 3607 Aft Cabin with the original Crusader 350s. I would like to retrofit and install a NMEA 2000 backone.

My question is: Can I pull data off from the original motors and if yes, how do I do it? I already contacted Crusaders Marine directly - and they were of no help.

So, has anyone already done this and how did you do it?

Jeff
