Post Wanted ~Solon (starboard) Bench Seat for '98 Mariner 350

I am looking for a good used solon (starboard) Bench Seat for '98 Mariner 350, in the "short-L" configuration, beige color preferred. I have a '95 330 and need a new couch and like this design, it would save me the trouble of building one from scratch w/pull-out "Long-L" for a sleeper.

Thanks,
Eddy O.

Post Carver Brochures

With the closing of Carver did the thread here in COF go away too. Was looking for the thread with all the Carver brochures that used to be here. Seems to be gone.

I found the thread with the links but they are not working. Wish Carver would have left them up and running somehow.

Post 3227 AC location

Hello! Does anyone know where the AC unit is located on a 3227? Mine didn't come with it and I just got a great deal on two Mermaid 12K BTU reverse cycle units. Just wondering how the OEM AC units were set up in this model?

Post Fresh water pump.

My fresh water tank pump filed. It was a Par Max Plus, 4GPM, 12amps, 15 amp fuse. The closest replacement I could find was a Jabsco Par Max, 4GPM, 10 amp, 15 amp fuse. It works but makes a thumping sound and trips the breaker after continued use. Especially when I run the shower?

My dock neighbor suggested that maybe it's too powerful if it's tripping the breaker. But that doesn't seem likely given the specs? Maybe it's just a bad pump?

Post mariner 360 waste tank

I've noticed on my '07 360 mariner that the holding tank never empties. Always a few inches of liquid left in bottom. Any ideas what could be causing this? How do I empty for winter storage? I don't want pee in there for 6 months.

Post Carver 355 Control cable replacement

I just replaced my transmission control cables and wasn't able to find much information related to a Carver 355 aft cabin so I am providing what I learned. The 1995 Carver was a recent purchase and It was very hard to engage the transmission from the control-unit, especially on the starboard side.

This will be the same procedure for replacing the throttle cables, however the lengths will be different. My first effort was to inspect the controls and then clean and re-lube the lobes on the cont ...

Post 1985 carver 3207 aft cabin

I’m looking at buying a 1985 carver 3207 aft cabin, I’m just curious as to what the fuel consumption is at half throttle, and although it’s not an ideal boat for it I’d like to try to use it for trolling for salmon a little, so will it be able to go as slow as 2-3 miles an hour? And how much gas would it use at that speed?
