Post Carver and/or Cummins electrical diagrams

I'm searching for any electrical diagrams for my 2000 Carver 406 with Cummins diesel engines. I have the basic diagrams which show most of the secondary DC power layout but I can not find any for the DC Safety Main Panel set up under the steps, the AC generator and shore power, nor any useful ones for the Cummins engines and helm gauges.
Any ideas of where I can acquire any electrical diagrams for something close to this Carver 406 would be wounderful.
Thank you.

Post Cape Cod Nor Easter

So far we have not escaped this one. The aft canvas has been torn up on 3 panels, and the front hatch ripped oepen and flapping on the front deck. I hated to call insurrance, but contacted CHUBB(ACE) and reported the claim, so far very nice people. 84 MPH winds. If we were at our home marina this would have been more protected, but at marina storage awaiting haul out,

Post Carver canvas tops new to Carver Yacht owners Jim 326

Goodmorning Carver people. My name is Jim (326Carver2000) and I am looking to have the original tops all replaced in the Toronto area. Carver has the pieces in their Owners parts manual, but no measurements are given. I have been a Carver owner since when I bought my 326 in 2010. Nice to be here, and if anyone has anything that will help, please send a note.

Post May Have Found Another Carver

Who knows. While surfing various websites of boats for sale I found this one.

http://www.pier33.com/boats-for-sale/19 ... n-8006602/

I think I may want to go take a look at it. Some friends of mine had a 27 Santego some years ago and I was impressed by the room aboard. I know its still twins but this boat should be more economical to run than my 3007 was.

What does the braintrust here think. Should I go look at it. I did request some more information ...

Post Manual help

Hello, I'm a first time yacht buyer and just bought a 1988 carver 3607 aft cabin. It has some problems and I'm trying to find some sort of overhaul manual (with explosive view diagrams) so I can replace the old broken parts with something at least not broken and have part numbers. I've search the internet and can't find anything outside of the service manual. Can anyone help me with this task? I feel like I've been everywhere.

Thank you,

Post Location of hydraulic steering pump on 1986 Carver 42 Aft Cabin

Hi everyone,
I'm slowly learning where everything is located on my Carver. My steering is operational in the lower helm, but not working in the upper helm. It was suggested that the system may not need fluid, but may need to be pressurized to 15-20 PSI. Does anyone know where the hydraulic steering pump is located?

Much appreciated,

John

Post E1 error code on AC/Heat

We have a 2001 530 Voyager (new to us). It has Webasto marine heat and air unit in the salon that keeps shutting down. Has a fault code of E1 (compressor high pressure protection). We cleaned the strainer, but it runs for a short while then shuts down. Any suggestions?

Post Indoor Disposable Boat Cover

Saw another boat with this in the storage dome so I thought why not. This plastic is designed for overspray for car painting/masking. Comes in a 400' x 16' rolls, weighs almost nothing and I would say similar to what the laundry places puts over your cleaned clothes. Total weight of plastic I used was probably less than a pound. :-O I needed to use 2 pieces as 16' was not wide enough to do my boat which was a piece of cake to do. Definitely want 2 people to do this as the slightest breeze will ...
