Both sending units went out within 2 months of each other. I've been able to replace the starboard side (after finding the 'secret' hatch) but I'm having difficulty finding access to the port sending unit. From the salon, it would be directly below the built in cabinet. I haven't been unable to find any access thru the cabinet. Am I missing it or do I need to drill a hole thru the floor of the cabinet????
Any help would be appreciated.

I currently also have a '72 Glastron V-176 Swinger with a 1972 100hp Johnson outboard... so to say the least, this will be new for me. This will have the Mercruiser 5.7l, 1989 as well.

I have a 88 Carver aft cabin and the battery charger is a Professional Mariner 35 Amp charger 3 bank with an input of 85 to 140 V.A.C 60 cycles 3 amps. It is very old with rust. I am looking for recommendations for a replacement of it to ensure I have a newer smarter charger.

I’m in need of a fiberglass exhaust T. 2 ends are 4” , 1 is 6”. I’ve searched the Internet and have been unable to locate a replacement part.

Survey last week on a prospective 2004 466. Discovered aft midships cleats on both sides a little 'loose' - i.e., when the surveyor rapped them with his hammer, the cleat would rotate off center a little bit; and then when rapped on the other side/end, the cleat would rotate back the other way, just a smidge...



I'm wondering if anyone else has tackled this issue on a 466 and can offer some words of advice on how to get in to the back side (i.e. backing plates side) of those?.... Thanks

I contacted Taylor Made and no longer stocking the weather stripping for my 94 390CPMY. They sent me samples that I could try and match up. However, no matter how many times I look at these windows, I can’t figure out how to get them out of the tracks to replace the weather stripping. From outside? Inside? Suggestions?

I am replacing my Davit with a Presto Marine XL500 hydraulic lift so in preparing for the install I removed my current davit. Access to the the hardware is thru the 4 access holes on the platform deck. When I opened the covers I discovered really poor craftsmanship in the attempt seal the cellulose core. The installer simply smeared silicone sealant around the edge which of course did little to seal over time. They did not seal the actual frame of the access hole so water just seeped in.

We just bought a 1987 carver voyager 2827 double helm and we are looking for the enclosure for the upper helm. We have the bimini top with the frame already just need the side curtains or will buy complete used or new or even something that may need some repair. We are located in Michigan.
