Greetings. I am looking to confirm what seems to be the common way of priming the AC water pump.

If we put a water hose in the discharge, do we just put enough water in to fill the discharge and then turn the on the AC?

Also, can anyone confirm the AC discharge is the far left discharge with the stain in this photo?[image][/image]

I have. 2000 Carver 396 with a Kohler 5kw diesel generator. It ran when I bought the boat last summer, I had someone come service it but didn’t try and run it after. Last weekend we went out and it wouldn’t start. Battery is charged but it does nothing when you flip the start switch. No crank, no click, no nothing. I am wondering if there is a battery disconnect somewhere. The space is tight but I don’t see one…. Anyone know where it would be or have other ideas?

2006 396 MY with Volvo 8.1 Gi won’t throttle up past idle on the port engine. I swapped out the throttle body from the starboard engine and still had the same issue. Replaced the throttle position sensor and still not working right. Engine will start and throttle up after disconnecting the battery but when shut off and started again won’t throttle up. It’s almost like it going into a safe mode. Strainers are clear and no overheating issues while idling. Any ideas?

I've been fighting my freshwater pump for the last 3 days my body is very sore from reaching underneath things and man handling pipes.

My current dilemma is this 90° fitting that goes into the filter. I can't seem to get an angle on this to loosen it enough to get the filter off. I had to remove the entire pump and then twist it around and circles to unscrew it. 2006 56 Voyager has Logo lights on each exterior side of the Bridge Deck. The Bridge deck rocker switch has LOGO label. Has anyone changed the light bulbs? The Logo emblem is either acrylic or hard plastic and I don't see any screws or pry open slots on the exterior. Rather than taking apart panels on bridge deck I'm hoping someone here has replaced the bulbs and can advise how to access them.

Been chasing a Diesel leak for a while now and have finally found it! the transfer pump mounted on the aft area in the engine bay behind the port engine. I have isolated the transfer pump but shutting the valves at the tank to the transfer pump, and turned off the breaker to that pump (which is actually always off for me unless I'm going to use it).

I previously traversed this waterway back in 1997. At the time my boat was a 1996 Bayliner 2855 Ciera Sunbridge one of the best boats I have ever owned.
