Post scupper replacement

1994 390CPMY. One of the scupper flaps has broken off. It is a strange one inasmuch as it is secured by a screw in an "ear" at the top to allow it to move in and out. Any ideas?

Post Camera for Ray e127

I have on my 390CPMY Raymarine QII radar, e127 and e97 displays and a Ray Autopilot. I am looking to add a camera to the rear to aid in docking as it is hard to see from the bridge. Are there any cameras to your knowledge that will work besides the FLIR ir cameras? Not looking to break the bank here. Thank you.

Hi all
I’ve bought a boat that’s been under-propped!
Anyone know where I can find the prop specs for a 370 Voyager with Cummins 300’s?

Thanks

Post Fuel tank leaking

Just bought a Carver Santa Cruz 25 foot with a remain 351.
Starts great but the guy that I bought it from took me for a serious ride. I am working on it at a friend's and the fuel tank is leaking. I scooped out 5 gallons and there is still standing gas. Tomorrow going to siphon out the rest. What can I do to repair/ replace the tank? :help:

Post Oil change before or after shakedown

As many of you know , I am bring back to life a 2001 356 aft cabin. This boat has been sitting for at least a year and a half. The oil looks clean and shows no signs of moisture in it. Should I change it now or wait till I can run the engines and get some of that stuff that may have settled mixed back in to the oil ? I would be doing this on both the engines and generator,

Post Leak in fresh water line under sink in the galley

Good Afternoon fellow carver owners!

My wife and I are living the dream living aboard our 1988 4207 in The Northeast. We bought her after our wedding this past October and call it our extended honeymoon. Let’s be real, waking up on the water makes everyday feel like you’re on vacation and I’m not sure what could be better! Either way, as the weather is breaking we are taking down the small projects getting ready to run most weekends in the spring summer and fall. Here’s my question, I have a smal ...

Post Exhaust Elbow Replacement

I am trying to find a replacement rubber elbow for my exhaust system. I have a 2000 Carver Voyager with Cummins 450 Diesels. This elbow is right after the exhaust-water injection elbow. It is a 6" ID, 90 deg. rubber elbow that measures 16"x12".

I have found a similar replacement that is about 12"x12" that works, but not ideal. Big Rig shops carry these, mostly for intakes.

By the way, the hole is from a muskrat that made his way in but did no other damage. I was very lucky that was all!

Post Blowers Suck!!

Blowers in general are noisy and bearings go bad after a few years. Is there anything out there that is not your standard el cheapo unit. These things are so poorly made I wonder how they allow them in a bilge. Have been searching for quite some time and have found this. Not sure if it is ignition protected but being for a diesel application in my case I do not care all that much. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Not exactly cheap at $60 but does look rather promising. Blowers in general are noisy and bearings go bad after a few years. Is there anything out there that is not your standard el cheapo unit.
