Greetings all! I'm a newbie Carver owner with a couple of questions I'm sure someone out there can answer.

1. I have a circular gauge on the electrical panel that shows the fresh water amount. However, I've yet to find a gauge of any kind that shows what the level of fill is for the BLACK water tank. I realize I probably could go crawling around below deck and look for the tank but seems to me there should be a gauge somewhere. Ideas?

last week I sprayed some impossible to pronounce chemical (but bio degradable so the world is not degrading faster) on our hull and the yellowish 'mustache' disappeared. Leaving a nice white hull. Quite surprised and happy of course, the renovation will take lots of work on polishing and such but I now see an end to this and we will have a nice white shiny boat in the end.

I have a 350 Carver Mariner and am considering adding a couple of speakers in the back of the steps to the bridge. Has anyone done this or have a better solution?

All - We are prepping our 3607 aft cabin for a spring move. The bimini structure is down ,electroncs removed. I am now looking at removing the steering wheel. Any suggestions ? If you look in the 2 pictures there are 4 bolts holding it on so it seems obvious but I don't want to be cleaning up hydraulic fluid .

There are several hatches in the Master stateroom on our 560 Carver Voyager. The small hatch at the foot of the bed collects water. I have been unable to detect where it is coming from. I stopped up entry holes on either side. Any ideas? Thanks

Is anyone interested in an after market swim platform that came off a 2002 Crownline? It is an extended version. Was removed from a hull that was rotted. Not really shippable so it would take a trip to Green Bay WI to pick it up. The guy that has it would take any offer to get rid of it. If interested, just say so, and I will get measurements. I believe the beam on the boat was 10' 4". er

I just bought a 1999 Carver 530 Voyager and am new to this forum. The forward bilge pump discharge hose is brittle and broken, therefore the pump just recirculates the water in the bilge. Access to the hose, which is too brittle to clamp a splice to, is impossible without cutting a hole underneath the drawer at the foot of the master stateroom bed. I did that but the hose is obviously shot and needs to be replaced for it's entire length. Therein lies the problem. It can't be pulled out and ...

Does anyone have any advice on how to reseal the front porthole windows on a 2002 564 CPMY? They keep leaking when we are underway and i am concerned that we cant just continue to try and tighten the screws on the window clamps to fix this.

Any DIY guides on this?

Hello all!

We have a 2002 564 CPMY and it has the Malber washer and dryer. The tub on the washer doesnt seem to engage and the prior owner (we bought the boat just a few months ago) said that they never used the washer. So, i am not sure if these are easier to repair or replace and was wondering if anyone else had this same issue before?
