Hi all! We just purchased a 1986 3607 right at then end of the season here in CT. Got a killer deal ($4500) but part of it was I didn't have the opportunity to meet the seller, so didn't get the "here is where everything is" walkthrough and am trying to figure out what lines go where.

I haven't had any luck finding anyone what knows Carvers and can professionally winterize it for me (or show how the process), so I am going to have to give it a shot myself. I've winterized my fair share of houses ...

We are getting the run around from a seller we currently have under contract and would love an opportunity to find a replacement and walk away from this deal. Anyone have a 42'-44' Carver 1988-2001 you might be thinking of selling??

Need help in locating the air conditioning pump relay on 1987 Aft Cabin 3807. This relay runs the pump that runs 3 seperate A/C units. As I understand this itis a black box about 4"x6"x6"

I have a 1990 3297. The batteries in this model are located in the engine room between the engines. They battery boxes sit on a wooden platform only an inch or so above the hull. This wooden platform frequently gets wet whenever any water makes its way into the engine room. The water level required to activate the bilge pump is quite a bit higher than the level of the platform, so it frequently gets wet and stays that way. I would like to replace the wood with starboard or something similar ...

Just wanted to say hello after my first summer with my new to me 450 Voyager. I picked the boat up in Massachusetts in May after a year and a half search. We live in NJ and drove as far as Jacksonville FL and Midland Canada looking for the right 450. Elsewhere on the forum is a topic on oil, where, as I read it, some are advocating Rotella, an oil formulated for diesel engines, for their gassies. Why? What are the advantages of this over 'normal' oils?
