Post Yacht Devices J1708 Engine Gateway, connects older Engines to NEMA 2000

Hi All,
Just trying to plan some winter projects.
Does anyone have any knowledge about these devices?
I have Volvo D6 Diesel's with the EVC but it's an older version that doesn't interface to the EVC displays.
Hoping something like this will work as I'd like to check my turbo's, fuel consumption, fault codes from my engines. etc... on my Garmin 7212's or other MFD's.
Thanks,

Post What's the difference between a 634 Santego and a 3067?

I just bought a Carver Santego 634, and am trying to see about having a trailer built for it, but the trailer manufacturers can't find the 634 model number. They can only see the 3067 and the 34' models. Does anyone know if those hulls are any different than the 634?

I can't haul the boat out of the water. It's too far away, and I don't have time to get it insured right now so I need accurate specs. These boats look identical to me, but there's probably something different about them. I just ...

Post Oil recommendations

Hello, Just purchased a 1990 Carver 3608 with Mercruiser 7.4 carbureted engines and a Westerbeake generator. What oils do you recommend? synthetic vs non synthetic? . They have 700hrs on them. Thanks for an input.

Post What do you use the water for?

Our new-to-us Riviera holds 80 gallons (300 litres) of fresh water, and 160 gallons (600 litres) of fuel. I assume we get similar range as other dual-engine Carvers with this fuel. This kind of boating is new to us - our experience with the Albin 25 was with very economical fuel consumption (36 hp diesel, 7 kts) and bottled water.

My questions:

1. what do you use the water for? I am thinking - washing up, showers, cooking . . . but drinking? Is dockside water supply and 40 year old holding tanks/t ...

Post Rudder indicator issue

We have a 2000 53 Carver Voyager. The rudder indicator is off by one mark. I can’t find anyway to adjust the rudder unit. Has anyone had this issue and corrected it? Thanks in advance.

Post 1992 CPMY 43

I'm looking at a 1992 Carver 43 CPMY. The hull sides are cored, but I can't really find much information on how the hull is constructed below the waterline. How thick is the layup, are the stringers fiberglassed plywood or a composite and is the transom solid fiberglass or is it backed with plywood or some other material?

Post [26 command / 280] Request: picture of your panel

I'd like to know what the switch (fuses) panel originally looked like in my 1992 26 Command bridge / 280 Sedan bridge

Mine has a creative mess and as I'll have to rebuild the thing anyway, perhaps I can do that in style.

edit: I was initially looking for the fuse/switch panel but am also interesed in the 'dashboard' (dials around the wheel) edit II: 'helmpanel' as I found some remnants of a previous engine setup.

Thanks in advance

Post OK, 'nudder dum question

Does anyone know anyone who can/will make custom quilted mattress covers? I need two made for my fwd mattresses in my '83 3607. The mattresses themselves are in great shape, but are vinyl and wouldn't make great sleeping surfaces. It looks like the former owner shot a lot of vinyls and used their hides to recover these mattresses (and the triangle plug) as well as all of the cushions in the settee cubicle. Also, what do you use for sheets and blankets in the v-berth?

Boy, I'm getting smart liste ...
