I need to find the vent covers for intake/exhaust on the side of my 1991 430 CPMY. They measure OD 17 1/4“ x 2 1/2” The inside (hole size) is 16” x 1 7/8”. There are 8 in total covering both sides. Any ideas where I might start looking. I’m in Canada.

My water pressure seems low. The stream of water will start off ok but then get weak. Doesn’t change when hooked up to dock water. Trying to locate where the pump is so I can investigate. Thanks

Greetings! When warming up my 1978 Mariner 3396 my starboard transmission lever sheared right off (see attached photo). I'm looking for a replacement (prefer to replace with original part that matches port lever). Not sure if it can be welded (two types of metal visible in photo), and if it could be, if it would actually hold given where the break is located. Greatly appreciate any leads on where to find a replacement or tips from anyone who this has happened to! Our mechanic says he's never see ...

Just bought a 396 Carver with Twindisc EC150 electronic throttle controls. The left and right engines are out of sync so you need to push the Starboard throttle substantially farther forward to hit the same RPMs. Also they are way too touchy, and the starboard engine control is almost non-responsive the first inch or two from idle. I can't find anything about these controls online. Does anyone know where I should start?

I just picked up my "new to me" 396 Carver! Runs well, and is in reasonably good condition throughout with the exception of a couple thing I notice when I took her out. The portholes in the front birth leak when they are hit with spray. It appears that it is coming in between the seal and the glass. I did some web searching and can't seem to find the seal or exactly what the porthole unit would be called for after market. Carver site calls it PRTHL:Oval SS w/Deep Ring, Part Number 7330900. ...

We have placed a deposit on a 1998 355 aft Cabin and would love some feedback on what to watch for before the survey and final trial run. The owner his a mechanic and has just replaced all four manifolds and risers. The aft cabin window was repaired properly. Mercruiser 454's with 1400 hours on each.

Just read the post on the aft cabinet on the swim deck. Also will check the aft cabin head cabinets.

I have read the Crusader 454's are better than the Mercruis ...
