We have a 1997 42 ft Sundeck with twin 300hp turbo Cummins diesels.

Looking to replace the vertical ladder with a spiral stair.

Need a source.

My wife and I are moving up to a 1998 350 Mariner Aft Cabin from our Bayliner 2655 Sunbridge. Well, we are still in process - subject to survey and sea trial, which will happen shortly. and then transport to Hudson, FL.



Been in boating my whole life and this will be boat #7 for us. Probably the last one, but i keep saying that!



Any advice on Carvers in general, or this model in particular, would be very welcome indeed! Any issues with the 350 Mercruisers (approx 435 hrs)?

I need a new forward bilge pump. The hose broke off of the original one. It is 1500 GPH. Does anyone know what a replacement pump would be? Do they even make the original one anymore?

I’m looking for pictures of the galley across with the hatch removed. I’m pretty sure some PO moved so things around...either that it carver engineers are complete idiots. Will also take any other pictures of the interior, engine bay, piping, etc. thanks.

I just got my hands on this boat - 1985 Mariner 2897. I discovered wire chaffing on the main 110v wire from the inlet to the bus, among other wires (12v) near the port side transmission. The boat has not had power on it in two years, the previous owner didn’t recall any electrical issues. I’m curious why this happened? Overload? The previous owner had tons of things plugged in throughout the boat.



Any ideas on why this occurred? Can you identify which wire is the culprit? Can the 12v wires be sp ...

Hello! Has anyone attempted to replace the swim ladder on the 355 aft cabin? The ladder isn’t that great and we have small children so we are looking to put in a 4 step ladder. Also, has anyone successfully been able to put a grab handle on swim platform? Thank you!
