Recently purchased a 1988 Santego this spring.
When we had it out for its sea trial the operator managed to get the boat up on plane but he did have to fiddle with some of the controls to suceed.

I have not had any luck. At first I thought I could not get it on plane due to the trim tabs being stuck in the down position.
Fixed that and they are both now fully retracted.
Went out last weekend to try and sort it out but got chased off the lake due to an incoming squall.

While on a one week trip this past week I decided to check all the bilge blowers as I could only hear the generator blower from the bridge. Upon inspection I found out that both engine room blowers were not working. I first ruled out the switch and breaker and found power to the blowers so assumed both were just burnt out. Gotta lean on the Carver community for some help with my windlass. 2004 360 SS, Maxwell 880 windlass. Everything works except the down switch on the helm. Both foot switches work and the up control on the helm switch works too. After troubleshooting, I replaced the switch and still have the same result.

I have a leaking water faucet in the aft cabin tub of my 506 MY. I cannot find a way to remove the handle for the cold water. Has anyone done this before ? In my house, I have removed the faucet handles by removing a top cover piece and then unscrewing the handle. I cannot find a top cover piece to remove here,,, See picture below for the style.

Any thoughts ?

Looking for an original swim ladder for our 1988 3207. I know there's a couple different models that fit. I would just like to have the original equipment as I like the look of it folded up with the original teak steps.
