I am putting this out there in the event any Carver owners have similar issues with their Volvo Penta electronic throttles.



I have a 2006 Carver 44 CMY that is fitted with Volvo Penta D6 Diesel's that are controlled by the Volvo Penta electronic throttles.



I was on plane running across Georgian Bay at 3100-3200 rpms. I noticed a siginificant RPM drop on my starboard engine. The starboard throttle is the slave and sync's with the port. When I moved the throttle forward slightly the RPM's would ...

DOes anyone know the rudder angle of a 1994 390CPMY? My new autopilot is asking for it.

Has to be this style.. Want a second chair for my 1988, 3607 , cover can be in bad shape. Just want a solid chair so we can recover to match. Looked on line a dozon times with no luck. Maybe one of my fellow carver captains has remodeled and has one to sell... : )

I need to replace my fuel level sensor in my Aux tank and the local supplier needs to know the Ohm value range for the Guage. There are no brand or part number markings that I can see on the guage (front or back) or the sensor but have not pulled them out for a closer look.

Does anyone know what brand Carver used in 1999? They are Black face and black rim.

32 aft cabin. Girlfriend needs to replace some of those portable bumpers. Do you think a G5 would suffice, or need G6?
12000 lb boat in a slip being pushed around into these bumpers, makes me think a G6 is thicker in material? Dunno....

The air conditioner in the salon is not draining properly and, as a result, we are getting water on the nearby carpet. Also, there is an odor when the AC is running which I assume is related to the lack of proper drainage.

Any suggestions to resolve the problems would be appreciated. I am not sure how to access the air conditioner.

As a result of a waterspout / Tornado I now have all my canvas and clears blown out & I need to replace them. Originally they were supplied by "Prestige" Canvas but I can't find them anywhere. Anyone know if they are still in business or if anyone took over the business & has the patterns for replacement?
Sadly when I took a close look at my policy it sais covers are not covered over 5 years old. S I'm on the hook for these myself.
