Post 356 aft cabin head filter location

Hi all! I'm certain I need to change the head vent filter for the aft head. I've located the holding tank under the aft berth but I can't locate the vent filter.. we have a 2002 356 aft cabin. thanks!

Update: I did find the aft holding tank under the rug outside the entrance to aft head. The filter ended up being under the large air conditioning hose. It was completely out of sight, kudos to my brother for tracking it down. Thanks everyone. This forum is amazing.

Post 560 Voyager - overland transporting

I am looking at moving up from a 420 Mariner to a 560 Voyager. Does anyone have any information on overland transporting a 560 Voyager? Dismantling points, and transport companies familiar with moving a 560 would be helpful.

Post very sour under birth smell

There has been a thread or two on this but I have a specific question for those of you who may have been very deep into your 3697's..

I have owned this 85 3697 for 10 years.. I have done a fair amount of work on her.. Already have done new holding tank,head,lines.. Very unpleasant job.. I have been through the entire visible bilge..and cleaned it many times..

I have the mystery water that shows up in the middle bilge area, but where the smell is worse has always been under the forward birth..

Hi All,
I am going to view a 1995 Santego 310 this weekend and looking for some advice on the v drive versions.
Engines are Crusader 350 EFI with v drive Hurth Transmissions and prop pockets. 700 Hours.

Post New Member Intro

Hello Forum and fellow boaters. While I'm not truly a Carver owner yet, I am prospectively traveling this weekend to sea trial what I'm hopeful to be my first Carver, and first motor yacht. My boating life has been long and very enjoyable. I've owned a VIP Vindicator, Baja 25 Outlaw, and Formula 292 Fastech and owned these individually over approximately 15 years of boating. After a 5 year cool off period of not owning a boat, I now woke up to smell the coffee and realize slow and comfortable is ...

Post New antenna

Probably a simple answer but I’m a couple hours away from the boat and I’m trying to remember what access panels the upper station has. I need to install a new antenna and was wondering how I access the backside of the radio so I can detach the old cable and pull the new one through.

Do I lift the port side gauge panel up and reach in from there?

Post Aftercooler & Heat Exchanger Zinc Replacement Periods

Hello, I'm a new owner of a Carver 405 with Cummins 6BTA5.9 330hp engines. I'm just servicing my aftercoolers and found the zincs were either gone or well overdue for replacement. Fortunately, there were no issues with the housing and cores. I'm in salt water year round. I'm wondering what your experiences are with an interval on changing these out before it's too late and they are gone or are at the point they can't be extracted.
Thanks in advance.
Frank

Post Just bought a Carver have a couple issues/questions

Hello Carver owners! I just bought a 1988 Carver Santego (this the first boat I have owned). It has low hours - been used only in fresh water so far. 1 owner. Seems in good overall condition. I am very excited about it. I do have a couple of issues so far that I have not been able to find help for. One is the interior water pump. I filled the tank but no water is coming out of faucet. I can't see to find an on/off switch. The fuse in the panel seems ok. Might be that the pump has gone ...
