Post Carver 445

I just bought a 1999 445 and the boat is 500 miles from me so I can't answer this question.
Do these boats come from Carver with a isolation transformer?
And where is it located?
Thanks

Post Bilge blower 560 Voyager

Would like to replace the bilge blower on my 560 Voyager. I can see them mounted above the fuel tanks on the outboard side but can’t figure out how to reach them. Is there some sort of access panel in the exhaust grill on the side of the exterior cabin structure or is there some other way to reach them ?

Post Racor Filters

I have Volvo Diesels in my 2005 44 MY and I keep getting a white powder built up in my Racor Filter Bowls. any ideas? once this occurs, I cant get enough fuel to reach cruise rpms.

Also, what size filters should I use? I replaced the first set which were 30 micron but im thinking of going to 10 micron. any reason this is a bad idea?

Post What is this and where does it go?

I have this mystery hose in my bilge of my 1999 Carver Mariner 350. I'm not sure where it goes or what it does. The house is laying next to my hot water heater in the salon. It runs down with the other hoses toward the back of the boat.

Note: My hot water heater works great. The hoses from the port engine that supply engine heat are connected and working. Its to small to thread into the pressure relief valve. My drain on the hot water tank is female also so this could not thread into that.

Post Trim Gauge Input

As part of my boat restoration I am installing all new gauges. I sure most typically use the most common brands in the marine industry, but for me being the drag racer that I am, I am partial to Autometer. There quality is second to none and I'm sure that carries over to their marine line of products. I'll be using their Ultralite Pro Comp Marines series and they have a trim gauge in that series. It works with 0 Ohm Down/90 Ohm Up trim level sending unit. Does anyone know what the output is that ...

Post 360 Aircon Relay box - Where is it ?

Hi,

I have a Carver 360, with 2 Aircon units (Saloon & Fwd) sharing 1 sea water pump. Switching on the FWD unit brings the water pump to live, but the pump doesnt run when just the Saloon unit is ON. Was expecting to find a Relay units close to the pump or the compressor but no joy. All the cables (from each compressor & pump) seems to be running to main AC board but i just cant seem to find the relay. Any help would be much appreciated !

Thanks in advance.

Post Boat Transportation Sarnia to Georgian Bay 2018?

I purchased a new to me 2000 326 Aft that is located in Sarnia and I am contemplating hiring help to transport the boat to Georgian Bay in the spring. I've boated on Erie for the last 10 years so Huron and Georgian Bay are completely new to me.

Likely to dock the boat in Midland area. Anyone know of options for either hiring a captain or transportation company?

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Post Engine Harness Schematic

Does anybody have one. I have the owners manual for my '84 Monterey, but it only has the instrument panel and the 12v DC and 110v AC. Nothing on the engine itself. I sure it's probably pretty generic for different engine sizes and makes.

Post Happy Holidays....Days are getting longer.

Well, starting tomorrow as I understand it, the days begin to get longer....that is good....and just 21 or so days to the Toronto boat show, also 18 weeks to golf according to the local golf course sign, which also means about the same for boating in our neck of the woods. :-D .

Happy Holidays folks.... :beergood: ... :drunk:
