Hi - Does anyone know who has the pattern for replacement enclosures? After calling Carver, they only keep them for 10 years?

Anyone know who makes them aftermarket? I'm trying to avoid having a canvas manufacturer make them from scratch to save some $$$$.

This is for a 1995 Carver 280 Express. I have the bimini and need new side and rear pieces.

305 gas engines upper helm reads 3000rpm on both engines. Lower helm reads 2000 rpm on both engines at the same time. At idle, all are the same. Lower helm tachs were replaced recently. Any ideas?

Thanks for your help. Both tachs were set for six instead of eight cylinders. On to the next fix.

Is it normal for the shower drain pump to run occasionally for a few seconds at a time? Not for pumping shower water out, but for some other unknown reason, perhaps for pumping condensation water from the AC unit? It never seemed to do that before but now it comes on every half hour or so.

So I just bought the boat and the genset runs smooth but it idles up and down at a nice slow pace but when a load hits it like a ac compressor it Boggs it down for a second and it eventually catches itself.

So actually found the manual for it the book and I just happened to notice it is missing the governor assembly and pulley.........


Anybody know anybody or know a good place to seek help? I originally thought it might have just needed a carb job. Now I am realizing that this is my real problem ...

Hi all, 1998 Carver 445 AC with a Maxwell Freedom 800 winch that is starting to misbehave. One of the manual's troubleshooting tips is to test the reversing solenoid, but it also says that during install, the solenoid is not supposed to be installed in the chain locker. Any idea where this might be found? Would they have put it in the helm station (where the remote panel is) or is it probably in the chain locker?

Wiring is all hot and working, but all the wires came out of the back of the Tankwatch 3 monitor. I think red (hot) goes in 1, gray 2 (gray is teh one that crosses all the floats so its the common one, then there is three others. I have the lights labeled, full, mid and empty, but cannot get any to light up when hooked up. Emptied tank nothing, full tank nothing. Not sure if someone has the PDF for this or suggestion on how to troubleshoot? This is for freshwater tank and all wires are work ...

Does anyone know what glue material Carver used to hold the rubber gasket and screen into the porthole?

Proud owners of a well maintained 1984 3607! Former Go-Fast boat owners so this is new to us, but we love it! From 70 to 7 is what we're getting used to but it's great. Live in the boat most weekends at an awesome marina.
I've already read many helpful posts here as a guest so we are very appreciative of all the good information you guys give. Glad to be a part!

Does anyone know the beam width at or close to the waterline for a 346 or 366, trying to figure out if I can fit into a 13' wide slip. thanks.
