Post Exhaust Mufflers for 3607 Carver

Hi guys I was thinking about adding a clamp on muffler to the exhaust that comes through the transom. The straight exhaust with no mufflers gets a little loud on long trips so I am looking for ways to tone it down. I have been looking at the Gibson 4"clamp on muffler, or dumping my exhaust underwater in some way. Anyone have experience with these mufflers? Or with making turndowns to put it underwater? Thanks Tim

Post Inverter and battery monitors installed

Since owning our 1994 Carver 390 CPMY we have been very busy improving it, or as they say making it ours. A few of the things we have done is install a new 50amp battery charger with remote monitor, a battery monitoring system and lastly a 1000 watt inverter, as the Admiral likes her TV even at a mooring. Post Hit a rock today..........................

While cruising out of the channel, we were scoping out how the Coast Guard removed a green can, that was the only marking of the entrance to the channel. Looking about and then BAM! Very loud noise. I knew we hit something, but what and how bad. I motored away with no vibration, so I took the throttle up to cruising speed and again, all seemed fine. We continued on our way, had a super day and got back to the marina. After we docked, I donned the mask and fins and got a bit sick over the port pr ...

Post Norcold Frig Parts - free!

I'm replacing the original 7 cu ft Norcold DE-461/DE-561 Frig on my 3227 with a nice, new, expensive DE-0061R . This is the larger frig used on 3227/3007/3207/3607 models. I would be happy to give away any parts that someone needs for their frig - shelves, drawers, doors, etc. You just pay the shipping/freight. Send a message and let me know what you need - I can send you a pic back and you decide it you want it...
