Post Seaward Electric Stove

Greetings, Forum Mates:

I am searching for replacement element bowls for a Seaward Princess three burner electric stove Model # 3542. These are also known as drip pans.
The original Seaward part number was 72233 (in 1986).

Anyone know where I can find a vendor of such items?

Thanks,

Post Summer Maintenance on 3227

Summer Splashy Lady maintenance time! Engines got new coil, wires, plugs, rebuilt the Q-jet carb (definitely a pain!), oil change, new fuel filters/separators, and a new fuel sender for the starboard tank. Both engines purr like a Tomcat in a dairy now...

Post Looking for a gear linkage for a 1988 Voyager 28

Hi all

I dont know if this is the right place to be asking this but I have a 1988 Voyager 28 with twin Chev 305's and V Drives.

One of the linkages from the V Drive to the prop shaft is bent and I'm trying to find a replacement.

It is a Walter V-Drive with 1 1?4" shaft and standard SAE taper with 5/16" key.

Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Cheers

Rob

Post New member with 1988 Carver Voyager 28

Hi

My name is Rob Spijkerman and I bought a 1988 Carver Voyager 28 back in March 2011. It had been sitting in a yard going to rack and ruin and I spent the next 4 years restoring her and launching her early in 2015.

Since then I've been enjoying her and finding all kinds of other issues with her but with a couple of new props she handles like a dream now.

Post need new batteries

You guys are so great I decided to come back for more! We need new batteries. (Carver 356) We have 3 now, one dedicated to the gen and the other two start both engines and run the stuff. I am not sure all three need replacing but they are from 2011. Everything was fine until we had company. We always turn off the water pressure when we are going to be gone for a few days and sometimes the microwave and range. Somehow when our company was "helping" they flipped off the battery charger and w ...

Post New owner of 08 Carver 36 Mariner

My husband and I just purchased a 2008 Carver 36 Mariner. Spent the day cleaning it and getting it ready to go. We will be on the Chesapeake Bay. Already have questions and will begin by searching old posts. We moved up from a Nauti Star deck boat so this will be a big change for us and will be looking for some advice. Thanks in advance.

Post Carver 530 Voyager

Hello, I have twin diesel's in my 530 Voyager that are 17 years old with only 950 hours on them. They run great, but I've recently noticed seawater dripping at the end cap of the port heat exchanger (1 drop every 5 to 10 seconds). My mechanic is recommending I replace both heat exchangers as well as service the aftercoolers and transmission coolers. My question is, does anyone have experience/comments on this? Can the leak be patched with JB Weld? What are the ramifications of letting it go for ...
