This is the latest. HAVE 1990 carver aft cabin model.

The water pump comes on every 3 to 5 minutes and stays on for several seconds.

The water tank was observed decreasing 1 inch every 4 to 5 hours.



The water leak is NOT in the aft part of boat like I previously thought but shows up in the forward bilge compartment (hereafter FBC).

Removed kitchen stairs and hatch to FBC.

Forward bilge pump comes on to drain several inches of water out of FBC. Not sure how often but within a day or two.

I am wanting to remove/replace our tvs in our 2007 CMY. I can't seem to figure out how to remove the wooden fram to get to the mounting bracket. Any recommendations?

I have a 1987 2827 Voyager and I need to replace the head and front birth faucets. Wondering if there is a special marine faucet that should be used or an RV type faucet? Or can I use any type of faucet? Are the water supply connectors the same? Not looking for anything fancy, just a single lever faucet to replace what is there. Faucets are leaking a little and I think they are original to the boat.

My father taught me years ago to point the spot light back toward the helm when not in use. He said that you will never accidentally leave it on and drain the battery if you can see the lens.

I can not tell you how many times that I leave the dock at noon on Sunday or Monday and see spot/search lights on.



While those boats are plugged into shore power it is not a question of running down the battery as much as reducing the life span of those expensive bulbs.

Per the owner's manual the 97 Carver 405 had an inverter installed when the optional stereo was installed. I have not searched the vessel. I was hoping someone can provide the location, manufacturer, or model number of the inverter? Thanks in advance

I knew the age of the three group 31 batteries, but not their condition. I paid the marina to charge monthly, all records indicate they were. I personally charged them on my last visit to the boat. Checked fluids, everything was good. Tester found batt #1 bad, batt #2 weak, and gen batt marginally OK.

I thought the battery and charger upgrade would happen sometime this summer. WRONG! Just bought two group 31 Ba ...

I am interested in hearing your input on Dinghy cleaners. I was out in the garage and our Mercury dinghy is really in need of some rehab. To be honest I cant remember what I used last year to clean it in the spring Probably something from around the house. I used the 303 protectant for UV and I was less than impressed with that product. No matter how careful I was it ended up making the inside of the hull very slippery.
