Post DOCK LINKS !Lake Ontario, Trent Severn, Lake Simcoe and Gbay

Hey folks,

Just a shout out - and to clarify, I checked with ADMIN before I sent this!

I recently started (another) new business, this time directly boating related and I think anyone up here in Canada thru the Trent and into Georgian Bay and the North Channel would benefit from it.

I have been boating in Lake Ontario, through the Trent and into Gbay and the North Channel since I was a kid, and I observed the following. Lake Ontario Boaters typically migrate eastbound towards the entrance to the Tr ...

Post First boat! 89 Montego 2157

Whew, where to start! So right now I'm living out in the middle of the pacific ocean in the Marshall Islands, and I bought a boat back in Idaho where I came from! Can't wait to get back home this summer and go boating on the American Falls Reservoir. One day we hope to move to WA, or OR and settle down. My wife teaches collage math, and I'm happy to be a retired stay at home dad for our 3yr old daughter. I bought the boat from my cousin with out even ever seeing it... lol, hope that works out fo ...

Hello. I have a 2003 Carver Mariner 350 damaged by a tornado. A section of the dock roof damaged the radar arch and antennas. Looking for a replacement arch which is aluminum. Carver no longer manufacturers this particular arch. If you know of a Mariner being parted out, please let me know!

Thank-you

Jim

Post First Time using Head after boat was previously winterized.

Hi,

I recently purchased a 1990 Carver Santego 3067 and love the boat, it's spacious and runs great, but i'm still learning alot about owning a larger boat and the owners guide only provides basic information. My boat was previously winterized and i'm in the process of getting it ready for spring. Please forgive me for any stupid questions now or in the future ;)

It's currently moored in a covered location and hooked up to shore power and the water tank is full. The head is a Raritan toilet with a ...

Post Hail damage to Bimini

In a bit of a strong squall last summer, Bimini on our Voyager 320 sustained probably 50-75 spots on the top where a large hail impacted the top. The large hail spread out the fine threads so you can see faint light in those spots. Its not leaking yet but drops of moisture are starting to accumulate on the larger of the spots. Any thoughts outside of replacing the top?

Post Power line 1 showing zero on the voltmeter

Ok. I have a carver 33 SS 2006. It has 2 30 amp service inlets for AC power. One of the inlets powers line 1 which has the battery chargers, the outlets, microwave, stove top, etc. the other (power line 2) powers the AC units.

Today, while on shore power, I heated something up in the microwave. I noticed it didn't finish and the microwave had no power. When I went to the breaker panel. I noticed the voltmeter for power line 1 registered zero. I checked the hookups. The 50 amp service on our dock ...

Post Carver

With out pics, hard to say.
But guessing....sounds like packing maybe leaking?
If packing, 2 to 4 drips per minute is what it should be.
As for the fins, need pics and should be fixed regardless...
