hello all

Just recived my 1995 33' maniner about 3 weeks ago. Survey and sea trials went well and I am now in dry dock and cant wait for spring. I noted that my props seem tight. Takes 2 hands to turn them. Survey stated they were free when the boat came out of the water. Is this normal ? Also will be happy take any input on this boat like fuel millage standard speed/ rpms.

any info will help as I am new to a boat this size. My last boat was a 24' bayliner (2452)

I have a real strange issue. I have a 7.4 liter Volvo penta engines. The engine ran for 58 days as we traveled south and every thing was great. IT sat 2 wekks. Engines Flushed with fresh water when we stopped. It ran great for 5 to 7 minutes and then increased RPM to 2600 and would not go down. Switched AIC valve. no Help. We swithched the computer and this was not the issue. Ohmed and continuity to wires to value no issue. Checked wires to ground no issue. What can it be. We need he ...

We have a 466 Carver MotorYacht. I was wondering if anyone has replaced the blinds on their boat. If so, what company did you use?

Our 2003 530 with 75 series engines (560 hrs) has very low (1 PSI) indication on the EVC digital displays yet the analogue gauges in the panel show perfect indications (well above half scale) Both engines the same- no alarm indications at all. Thoughts? Thank you!

The Onan17kw genset in our 2003 53 voyager is producing 250 volts which is causing the inverter charger to not work (high AC Voltage fault). The lead anti tamper device on the fuel injection pump is intact. I have not checked the frequency yet. Any ideas besides RPM? Voltage regulation?

Hi there everyone! I have a 25 year old yacht management company in Vancouver Canada and have 3 Carver's to look after. I hope to use the forum to find information on various issues we encounter, and share knowledge. Admittedly, I am not terribly experienced with the brand, but hope to contribute and get some tricks to keep everything running.

I am new to the Forum. I have a 1997 405 aft cabin. When at rest, there is water leaking into the forward bilge and after much troubleshooting, it appears to originate at the rear port exhaust. Anyone else had a similar issue and what is the repair?
