Hi

I have what I believe to be a bilge pump that wont quit running. I am not sure what fluid it is suppose to move, but I think it is related to the forward head. It is under the galley floor board and here is what is really weird. I can shut down all the power (AC and DC), and it still runs.

Anyone know what that bilge goes to and why it would run continuously.

I have a S-L Seawolf 520 that I am have a heck of a time finding a replacement solenoid for. Are there any cross-references for solenoids that will work such as an automotive solenoid or something like that?

We have a 1987 3207. I've poured sewage treatment liquid into both tanks after every pump out since we've had it. Lately, there is a god awful sewage smell every time either unit is flushed. It comes from the stern and is even noticeable while under way. The tanks must be vented out the stern but I'm not sure. I've seen in-line filters on various sites and wonder if they work? Does anyone with a 3207 know how the tanks are vented? If there are vent lines, where do they run and what size are they ...

I will be picking up my 380 santego on Saturday, bringing her from Toms River, NJ to my home port of Edgewater NJ.



This vessel is equipped with Mercruiser 8.1s freshwater cooled inboards with 350 hours, and 7.5 kw Kohler gen set with 75 hours.



Any hints, tips, advice or recommendations from Santego owners would be greatly appreciated.



Looking forward to many good times on the water with family and friends.

Anyone know if currently available chartplotters can use the stock 192khz dual transducers on a 1995 Carver 430 ACMY, the Lowrance 3500 is failing and want to upgrade to a modern chartplotter.

There is not much that I have not done to my three Carvers over the thirty years of ownership. Much of it wrong the first time. Finding that the Maxwell windlass on my 1995 Carver 430 ACMY may be so obsolete that no parts (worn chainwheel) are available. Have part number but no model number. Any suggestions?

I have a 2006 Carver 53 that I just purchased. Love it. However I can't for the life of me figure out how to turn on the flybridge overhead lights located in the hardtop roof. I know I must seem like a complete idiot but I've had a few others on the boat to try to find the right switch. I don't know if a fuse isn't working or what but I just want to at least find the right switch first. On the flybridge helm there is no switch labor overhead lights. Help!

Just bought a 1991 Carver Montego 534 and am in the process of renovating to move aboard! I will likely be reading every post on this board!

I noticed on the weekend a gritty or grinding noise when moving the door on our 350 (1998) Mariner. Appears to be at the top of the door. After continued use for the weekend it disappeared. Is there a recommended lubricant for the track? Is it a big job to remove door if necessary?
