Hi, My wife and I own a 2000 Carver 406 with diesels. Purchasd it back in October of 2011. I've been working on it ever since. We just bought a 1990 2257 Montego, love it, but the dogs have trouble getting on and off due to the limited step room, has anyone made,bought,seen any time of addition I can attach to the swim step to give the dogs more footing?

Just bought our second Carver Montego, this one is a little more manageable for us thank our first (32'Montego) We love Carvers, even though we're not extremely experienced boaters.

I have a 1997 325 aft cabin with two 350 Crusaders. Flo-Scans were installed somewhere along the way by a previous owner. The starboard seems to work, but it jumps around a bit at times, and the total fuel used is way low. The port needle never comes off the peg, except to bounce around every now and then. Total fuel used on that side shows almost nothing.
Anybody recommend where I should start looking for this problem?

I'm new to boating and I wanted to know where I could buy canvas items like the standard cover for the summer and the camper zip up canvas with windows for when you sleep on it.

Hey all,
I've put up with this small issue for almost a year now and want to know how to fix it.

My rudder position indicator gauge, when the boat is going straight, is deflected almost a quarter needle to starboard. Does anyone know how to adjust the sending unit or gauge to center the indicator?

Not a big deal but I like stuff to work like it is supposed to work.

I am a co-owner of a 92 Carver 534 with twin 7.4L Mercruisers. I really love the boat design and thought it was in great shape based on survey and sea trials, but as with an older boat, there is always something. Happy to be a member of the Carver Owners Group and looking forward to learning from all of you.

I have the fuel selector valves set to draw out of the port and stbd. Tanks. But both engines seem to be drawing out of the aft tanks and the othe two remain full.
What am I missing here.
