Post Good decal experience

Not advertising or selling, but I had a good experience with my boat name. Options in my part of Maine are limited, so I went online. Found a place in FLA that took my sketch, produced a graphic, and shipped within 24hrs. Applied pretty easily (easier than getting the old name off! Combination of paint and decal. Heat gun + EasyOff+ elbow grease). Hopefully it proves to be durable, but so far I'm pleased.

Post Door Handle parts for 77 Carver Mariner

Hey All, Anyone have any idea where to find door handle parts for my Carver Mariner? I have been searching the Internet but can't locate any. They are brass, and for thin doors. Thanks, Steve

Post dinghy winch

I would like to add an electric winch for the dingy mounted on the swim platform but not sure of a secure enoulgh location. Is the aft hardtop on a Carver 3607 sturdy enough to handle the pull of a dinghy with a 15 hp motor? Thanks,

Post 350 Mariner Transmission Problem

I am new to the forum and I recently purchased a 2001 Carver 350 Mariner and just had the port transmission fail. It started slipping while underway so we shut it down and brought it back to the slip. There is lots of fluid in the bilge. My mechanic looked at it and said that it looks like the front seal is leaking and he said that it would require removing the engine and transmission to fix it. Anyone have any experience with this tyoe of repair?

Post Trim tabs on 1979 voyager 3326

Trim tabs are not functioning. The boat is on the hard and I can hear the pump motor running when I press the switch but nothing happens, no movement in the tabs. I'm very surprised at the size of what I think is the reservior for the system, yes there is fluid in the reservior. Any ideas on how to get things working. I'm going to disconnect the lines to the pistons this weekend to verify the pump is working. The information about the stearing system was very helpfull.
