Post Bilge Blower switch

Hello!

I have a 1999 Carver 350 that we bought last fall. The Bilge Blower switch, which is an illuminated rotary knob, stopped turning the blower off. The little green light on the knob still works if I turn it right to on, and the blower runs continuously whether the switch is on or off. If I turn the knob to the OFF position, light goes out but the blowers continues to run: I turn it off inside on the Main panel with the breaker.

The marina is ordering me a new rotary switch, but has said they ...

Post New to Carver Forum

Hi,

We are Kevin and Rhonda.

We bought our 1999 Carver 350 Mariner last fall and have it on Georgian Bay in Ontario. Absolutely love it! Coming from a Rinker 260 EC, we have so much more room, a generator we always wished for and way more in the way of creature comforts for being on the hook!

I’ll have many questions for sure, and these forums are excellent for getting others’ experience and wisdom. ( I am a retired airline Captain, and belong to my airlines pilot forum and benefit from that as we ...

Post Breaker on/Near Engine

Hello All!

We have 3 breakers on or near our engine. While our boat is running we are tripping a breaker somehow and we loose charging ability. I am trying to either figure out what is tripping the breaker, what is connected to these breakers, and how to fix them if they are bad.

If anyone has feedback or can help it would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone has feedback or a manual it would be amazing.

Post Do you know the best parks in Paris that are accessible by boat?

Hi everyone,

We have a Carver 38 Super Sport and we're planning to go up the Seine this summer, around early July, with a long stopover in Paris. Since we'll be spending a fair amount of time at the docks, the plan is to mix the boat life with some sightseeing on foot. My daughter (she's 9) is obsessed with finding green spaces and lawns where we can just lounge between walks... basically, searching for the "best parks in Paris" has become our main mission this week. I've looked at the classic sp ...

Post Hello !

Hi everyone, I'm Mariza! I'm so glad I stumbled upon this forum because, honestly, I felt like I was the only one in my circle this obsessed with Carvers. I’ve been eyeing a 396 Motor Yacht for a while now. I’ll admit I’ve spent weeks scrolling through photos, watching videos, and reading reviews from owners... but I always ended up on English-speaking forums where people don’t necessarily answer the kind of questions we have when we're based in France. So, here I am! Anyway, I find that flybrid ...

Post 638 santego crank shaft clearance

I was hoping someone with a 638 or one of the other model numbers it was called (I think 3467 and 380) be able to measure the clearance they have from the prop shaft pulley to the stringer.

I currently have both engines out of my boat right now and I am kicking myself for not measuring this when they were still in but I am thinking about installing crank mounted water pump and getting rid of the belt driven ones. I would love to do this while the engines are still out. I know it will be tight wit ...
