Yup, that is exactly where I ended up putting it...made one,works great so far, hardest thing to find was the charcoal and the most expensive by the way,have some in there now but would like to find the pellets, I think the air flow might be better......

We had one for years on our 2001 Four Winns 328 and it worked great.
This new to us boat (6 weeks) was very smelly. Seems it is working great for the few times we tested it.
