Water supply lines from head faucet to water pump replacement

Post by GFB »

Hello,

Old problem is back...

Looking for some assistance re replacing my water supply lines from the faucet in the head to the water pump. One of the lines has a crack in it and is leaking so needs to be replaced. Can't reach the lines under the front berth (platform bed lies on is glued down) looking for other ideas.
I can reach the main bilge areas and the pump easily, just not forward of the bulkhead separating the cabin from the birth.

2001 Carver 35 Mariner.

Any suggestions are most appreciated!

Thanks in advance

NOTE: I also posted this in General Maintenance, thought it might better belong here in this category...

You sure about that?..... There is a hatch under the mattress, and it can all be lifted if I remember right. The trim at the front edge comes off and there are screws under that to hold the platform down. Check inside the cupboard there as well.
I had one of these, but was a while ago, never know maybe I am misremembering LOL.....have a good look around.
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

Hi and thanks. I found the screws and couldn't seem to lift the platform. I'll try again though and let you know. And no you're not misremembering :-)
