Have a 2005 Carver Mariner and have noticed that the water tank (70 gallons) is leaking and over a weekend period all 70 gallons of water will leak out (I guess into the bowels of the hull.
1. Does anyone know where the water tank is located and how to gain access?. The fill is on the port side of the bow.
2. Has anyone had a severe water tank leak and if so, what was the cause? I suspect it may be a fitting on the bottom of the tank but I guess I have to find the tank first???
Thanks for any help.

Re: Apparent Leak in Water Tank
Hi there
Your Carver Owners manual should show you where the tank(s) is (are). I suspect improper winterizing as I have found on my 2000 ,456. I have two fresh water tanks , both filled by one Port side deck fill. When I fill my water tanks , water flows into the bilge, I believe from one of the tanks. I have one amidships under the aft berth and the other under the floor to starboard. I can not access the Starboard tank with out tearing up the carpet. I am in the process of isolating both tanks to ascertain which tank is leaking.
Good luck, try to follow your fill hose to find out where your tank is.
