Tank Monitor

Postby 2impulsive » January 7th, 2020, 11:21 am

I would like to install a tank monitor on the black water tank of my Carver Riviera 2807. Does anyone have any experience with the Scad TMI Tank Monitor with external sensor that is attached to the outside of the tank?

I am not familiar with it myself but watched a good video on YouTube.

I have used the original which was marketed as Snake River at the time. Essentially the same thing in application/function. They work great and cannot foul as they are mounted outside the tank. Highly recommended however they only work on plastic tanks.

Not much to it, it's a pretty simple install. The hardest part will be routing sensor and power wiring to the tank/s and monitor location. Follow the directions and you'll be fine. Clean the tank surface properly before installing the sensor strips.
