406 Washer/Dryer Install Location

Postby pps2112 » December 24th, 2024, 2:58 pm

I have a client interested in a 2002 Carver 406. They are interested in having a washer/dryer installed. I have seen on the 430s that a washer combo can be installed in the forward cabin in the "night stand" by the bed. Does anybody have any information on where a washer/dryer combo may be or has been installed on a 406?

I have a 405 which is the same just different year. I dont have a installed washer/dryer. Over the years owning my boat and checking out others on the internet I've seen 3 places. 1) the owner pulled out part of the l shape sofa and built a cabinet by the steps going out to the sundeck , 2)I have seen on this is a major rework of fwd berth cabinet and 3) is in the aft cabin port side closet which would severely limit the available storage. I don't think it's worth loosing the space in any of these spaces but not everyone might agree with me.
