I am trying to fix ac unit, and believe that the capacitor may be the issue, only problem is I'm having trouble finding it on the ac unit.

Get the spec off the capacitor and contact an electronics parts supply store. There's a few on-line or there might be a retailer nearby you. I've gotten a lot of electronic components this way over the years.
