Hi all. Ive got a new install generator in my 91 3608 my question is I'm looking into the change over switch options but also been looking into the original relay box if this is originally used by carver your inputs would be appreciated and how you change over from grid hookup to generator

The relay box automatically switched sources. Would not hurt to replace them every once in a while.

I'd rather have the setup that was on our 4207 - the mains (genny and line) were adjacent to each other and had a sliding cover that only allowed one to be the source.
Thanks
Fred

The older models utilized the existing shore line breakers and incorporated a rotary switch for selecting the source.

my 355 has the auto switch over relays. It works just fine but I would be happier with the lock out breakers, only two parts to fail.
