New breaker doesn’t fit?

Hi! New Carlingtonswitch breaker (left) does not match the connections on the old one (right). The new one has wider plates on it which the old connections don’t fit on to. This panel has the bus bar thing on it that connects all the breakers with a single metal bar, so modifying it to work is a PITA. I’ve looked everywhere. Does Carlingtonswitch have a different 10amp part number with the old, smaller plates, connection types on it? Thanks

Yes, they do make both. The part number should be on that tag. The left is ONLY for screw-on terminals and the right is for push-on. Both can be used with a buss-bar, but the bar is a bit different for both.

I found a AA1-B0-22-610-1D1-C part number on eBay. The “1” in “1D1” means push-on termination for anyone that may see this later. Hope it helps you.

Somewhere on the Carling website is a decoder so you know what all the numbers mean in their part numbering scheme.

I also made a mistake, see my posts, for the main breaker on our boat. I contacted Carver parts dpt and they got me the correct one.
