I kinda went down a rabbit hole here and decided I wanted the galley at salon floor level. Took some doing but I think it came out pretty good. No changes to the cabins fore or aft nor the heads. Just lifted the galley and banquete and updated the room decor. Guess I just have too much time on my hands now that i'm retired.

Wow! That’s super impressive and beautiful! That’s a lot of engineering/woodworking/finish work not to mention all the plumbing and electrical involved. Dying to know what you’re retired from?

I retired for a telecom engineering career, but always want to be a home builder. Ive built a lot of different thing over the years for other people, this I wanted to do for myself.

Thank you! It really was a big project. The rabbit hole got deep. I dont think I would have done anything differently, but I could have done it a lot cheaper and a lot easier.

Sweet! wow very impressive and inspiring. Great idea to lift the floor to the same level. Extra space under now? Maybe another holding tank...
