If you think about it, most of the draft is hardware... props and rudders, that don't contribute to floatation at all. The depth of the hull below water averages probably less than 12".

If you had a 30,000 lb boat, and added 3,000 lbs (10% of the whole boat weight), it'd drop the hull just over an inch more (actually less, considering the hull is "V" shaped instead of a box)

If you look at where the exhaust comes out on the sides you’ll notice the waterline is about 3” higher fully loaded with fuel and water versus empty. You need 4’ of water, you’ll be easy 45-46” loaded. I’ve measured this many times in still water at anchor and I wouldn’t risk any less than 4’ of water.
