Welcome to the forum Dave...... Good luck with getting your boat up to speed....... a new thread in the repairs area may help here.
The above is strictly my opinion.

So, after a _LOT_ of bleeding, we got the helm sorted. After stopping and thinking about things logically, and also finding some carver documentation on their website that indicates only two batteries, I looked closer and found my wiring problem that was keeping my starboard engine from responding. We were five minutes from launching her this afternoon when I found that there was a major fuel leak from the starboard tank. My documentation said that there was a leak in the port tank and the port sending unit is out and tank is dry so that seems to correlate. There is no real mystery here except whether the port tank actually leaks or whether the documentation was wrong and the sending unit being removed was a red herring. Not something I plan to figure out sitting in dry dock. We got the spill cleaned up but too late to launch. Now we have to assume that both tanks are shot and figure out a temporary fuel system to limp her home (about 10-15 miles) where we will be able to R&R the tanks.

Thanks again, everyone for the warm welcomes and helpful suggestions. I’m sure I will be starting some threads on some of the other parts of the boat that we will need to work on in the coming months.
