Hi all, New here, new to owning a yacht... although as I look around probably should say a boat as it's not as big as most I see :)

Although not new to boating (also have a 1990 Maxum sr2100) we just purchased a 1989 Montego 2557 today!! It's just finishing getting a fresh motor installed and should be sea worthy by Tuesday or so!

Glad I found this forum, looking forward to osmosing some wisdom!

Mark

Welcome Aboard. Good luck with your Montego. This is most definitely the right place to be for Carver boats information. There is a lot of knowledge here. We also love pics.

Hi, I'm in Pasco. Boat is at mechanic - just had new motor installed. Planning on mooring at Clover Island through the Port.

By the way AaHubb, Know anyone interested in coaching up a deck scrub to captain? Largest das boot I've piloted is our 21ft bowrider! (Admiral-shes also my dockmaster and treasurer-says get an ed-u-mah-k-shun!!) Might could find a bottle of wine, crown, or another indulgence for the trainer (s) :drunk:
