Hello, I am a new member to the forum and proud owner of a 1997 355AC. We have had the vessel since April 2019 and couldn't be happier. We took our first "big trip" a few weeks ago along the coast of Lake Michigan from Saugatuck, MI to Frankfort, MI. It was great 250nm roundtrip 10 day vacation and looking forward to the next one.

Welcome . I have a 405 which is your boats big brother. Fyi. By the way if you have the oem dock box I suggest removing it and inspect the mounting holes for water intrusion in the deck. Carver didn't do well sealing these and there have been many folks that find some rot in the deck here including me. If caught early no big deal to repair but some have had to cutout alot of the swim platform to repair. You sure want to avoid this if possible.

Welcome to the forum. 97 was a very good production year for Carver. Manufacturers have their up and down years, but Carver was very steady in their production techniques.
