Hello all!
My wife Linda and I just made the switch from sailing a 1987 Freedom 30 Sloop, to a 1996 Carver 325 aft cabin. Over the past three weeks we have been busy making it our own, and planning and implementing upgrades. I am still amazed at the increased interior space over the sailboat! Our homeport is Manitowoc, WI., the state were these amazing boats are manufactured!
Stand by for questions!

Welcome over to the dark side. Hope you get many hours of enjoyment in your Carver. Your right about room. These aft cabin models have lots of room.

Welcome aboard! My home port is Menominee MI. Come on over for a visit! Great marina. We used to sail also but the admiral was tired of getting yelled at, or so she says I gave instructions in a less than appropriate way. Going to power eliminated all that discomfort, not to mention so much more space. I have the same engines you do, great engines! Puchased CBTL out of Kewaunee. 8-) er

Thanks Cooler! We can certainly get up to Menominee some time, I know it is a very nice marina! Lots to learn and do before winter. Not to push the end of the season, but I may have questions about winterization. Are your engines raw water cooled?
