New to the group

Postby iswartz » November 18th, 2024, 9:29 pm

Hey everyone! My name is Israel swartz, I’m from North Carolina, I just picked up a 1989 carver montego 2557, it’s the first cabin cruiser I have owned so this is all new to me, trying to figure it all out as I go, love the boat so far!, after getting the boat and looking at more 2557s up online I noticed that some are a little different then mine like the cabin is set up different and some are the same and also the back of the boat near the swim platform some 2557s go up higher in the back then others, I’m just curious are some just different models or something? Anyway I’m excited to get to know people on here and hope I can learn a lot

Welcome aboard! Yes, there were a few options on those models. Also, a different production year would have changes to keep the vessel fresh with improvements. Where in NC are you? We used to winter in Sunset Beach. Good luck! 8-) er
