Hell, I’m new to any forum. I apologize in advance if I post something in the wrong place.
Occupation: Retired
Boat: 1995 Carver 440 Aft Cabin
Propulsion: 2ea Caterpillar 3116
Set to close by mid-September.
The vessel is turnkey, but I'm a little dubious of Cat marine engines. Thoughts?
I look forward to learning from you guys.
Thanks!!

Welcome aboard!
Catch up on all maintenence on those engines. Then keep up with it. They will be fine if you do the maintenence as scheduled.
If you are concerned. Then get the driveline surveyed as well.

Thanks, I'm having the pre-purchase survey done tomorrow with all the oils analyzed, but still a little dubious about the 3116s. Fingers crossed.
