I dont mean an angry anchor here
......Ok as the title suggests, do you use a stern anchor and if so what size and type.

25 lb Mantus anchor with 10' of vinyl covered chain and about 50' of rope. Mostly used during the day when the boat tends to swing or positioning it so the sun is just right.

I still use a folding anchor with nylon rode but, I know I have to let that go. The way Hans is doing it, that's the way it should be done.

I would find that a bit heavy for putting in and out of the dinghy, to set and unset in shallow areas where we are backed in. How are you setting that Hans?Midnightsun wrote:QR_BBPOST 25 lb Mantus anchor with 10' of vinyl covered chain and about 50' of rope.
