When you think about it the steel is not much. Take your 50lb anchor and double the cost of steel. today you can figure around 1$/pound so even if steel doubles it only adds $50 to the anchor. Unfortunately like everything else covid tends to make everything cost so much more when the reality is most of the increase is additional profit.

Hi Pepmyster

We were at the Rigging Shoppe today and actually purchased a 25 standard Rochna and the Vulcan to see which one would fit better (we can return them). Did you consider the vulcan and, if so, why did you go with the rochna?

Also, they were suggesting that our LoPro Windlass wouldn't cope with the increased weight. Did you consider the windlas in your purchase decision and, if so, do you have suggestions/concerns that you could share?

Thanks
Sandra

Finally installed the Rocna 25. Fit like a glove. Sorry about the photos being sideways.

Finally got some pictures of the Ultra in place, really happy with the fit. Did nothing adjustment wise and it just fit like a glove. In one of the pictures you can see sort of see the new roller I made to replace the original one which simply disintegrated with time.

Deltas are great anchors. I had one on my Carver and it held in some strong windy days.

Forgot to mention, I did order the Ultra Flip Swivel with the anchor. This thing just works, anchor always comes up right side up for entry into the anchor roller. Really a nice discovery for me.
