Hummmm, That's a great thought Hans. Maybe a entry cruiser or bow rider, Just so they can get the Carver brand out there.

oh, is that all? It's exactly like my 1992 Carver Command whatsinaname! Except for the size, the finish, state of materials used, power, seats, design, and the joystick docking, power plant but otherwise exactly the same!

I have a transom swim thing shower too!

but why 2 shore power connections? I know I will have two too as I am not friends with the Hubbell connector and will add a CEE. That will be not either but or.

Ok, the yellow-shirt lady is different too.

I thought cocktpit refers to the steering wheel and surroundings (like in a plane) but he shows the area in the rear.

at 11 minutes it finally gets interesting... and then he closes the video and does not show the hardware..

I'd love a real walkaround about the technology and materials used these days

Those videos are at least 4-5 years old and I doubt has anything to do with what Carver is going to release in the near future.

Nice videos though! Hans is right. Phrancus - in the sense of Carver boat description, the cockpit is the aft area of the vessel where you would hang out or get access to the engine room. The steering area is the helm. So far, none of the guesses are accurate, but keep those imaginations rolling? 44 days to go! 8-)

Just to add to cockpit thing. My boat is a 41 CMY (Cockpit Motor Yacht). The cockpit is the extra rear extension at the transom, not the swim platform. My wife and I usually converse in French and we nicknamed this area the "Cuve'" which translates to Vat or Wine Vat if you prefer. :-D

Glad you posted that pic. That is exactly how I was thinking to install the Infinity flooring on my platform, but I was a little nervous about doing it in 3 sections. That looks really good. I will actually have about a 2" channel between sections, but should look very similar. 8-) er

Maybe it's not about a new model but a restructuring instead, or an acquisition, or new ownership, or a huge deal with a new partner for a new line? In any case, we're all hoping it's good news and benefits the future of the brand.

Dang that Viper is one smart guy or gal! It is overall good news, but there will be a little sadness if this finishes out. 99% sure it will. More to come shortly. 8-) er

Ah, the lounge bar.

I think all current Carver owners who take care of their boats will get a free upgrade to a newer version.
