Flybridge removal Part 2: Mariner 28?

Post by Jab »

Considering an '84 Mariner 28

Will need to haul from Mass to Maine. I will use a professional service.

Boat is listed as 9'11" clearance, but I assume that is afloat from waterline to top of windscreen.

I believe through Mass, NH, and ME my limit is 13'6". Anyone with experience know height on hydraulic trailer? I'm hoping I only have to remove windscreen (if anything).

Thanks in advance for any input!

The 28 Mariner did not need the flybridge removed for shipping. The windshield will have to be removed, but that's all. Anyone telling you that you need to remove more than that is incorrect and probably trying to milk you out of some cash. We actually used to trailer them with the windshield on, but it's safer to remove it.
