Well as we enter the colder months in the NE, 1 of my main projects is to add a bow pulpit and windlass. I'm looking for a company that already has a template to fit my specific boat. In other words, here is my money, send me a pulpit that I can bolt on, that fits the contours and shape of the deck. This is a pic of a stock pulpit. There has to be a company out there, that has a template for this boat.

That looks exactly like mine, with the exception of the "V" cut at the aft end of it. Or is yours just the same boat without a pulpit at all?
Are you looking for a different size or shape? Seems like that one is in good shape (on the topside anyways) and could be reworked from the bottom if there are underlying issues with the core

Yes mine is the same make and model boat but no pulpit or windlass, I wish this was my pic lol, but is is just for reference. Looking for a company to make me one just like it.

You can email Carver... they may have some drawings a fiberglass shop could use to build one.

Back in the late 90's, I had a pulpit made for my Bayliner Avanti by a local fiberglass shop. I used bristol board from a dollar store (amazing stuff, cant tell the number of times it has saved my ass with templates) and cut out what I wanted it to look like. I made the bristol board the exact fit and size and gave it to the marina. Two weeks later I picked up my new pulpit.

Another option for you....have you considered a pivoting bow roller system,I installed a complete system on previous boat( roller, windlass and rode complete) , boat did not have a pulpit and it worked great and no extra length ,railings etc....
here is an example....great people and all US made....

I looked at the pivoting roller. They look like a good option. But I have decided to order a 24x48 3" thick polystyrene foam sheet. I'm going to sculpt a pulpit to fit the contours and angles, then I will send that model to Plasteak.com to have reproduced.
Thanks all for the idea's and suggestions! I will post some pics of my progress with the foam and final product.
What's a good 3rd party hosting website? I have used photobucket for years but seems they want money now.
