Finally

Postby RGrew176 » April 27th, 2018, 3:09 am

Finally the weather here reached a point where I could start to prep for my launch. I spent yesterday cutting off the shrinkwrap, putting up the bimini and getting my cockpit cover on. My boat is a bit closer to a launch date. I want to get the hullsides waxed then put her in the water.

Hoping to get the hull done next week and launch shortly thereafter. Being that it was a nice Thursday I was among several other hopeful boat owners working and prepping for launch. The weather window looks pretty good for the next several days.

Getting anxious and wanting to get into the water.

Rick, not trying to make you feel jealous but yesterday I commissioned my AC units. Had a high of 86.

Email from the Marina on Thursday telling me they splashed my boat. Sounds good, but I asked them to hold off until two weeks unit I finished, cleaning waxing etc. :banghead:
At least I had gotten the hull done first.
76 degrees Saturday, 50 degrees and 30mph winds today.
90 by mid week this week.
Crazy weather.

Me, I am trying to line up getting the hull waxed so I can go in. Hope to get that done this week and hopefully launch next week. If they are to backed up I may just launch and catch the hull next spring.
