Good morning
I would like to change all my interior lights to led, 1998 4555 Carver. I have Hera 20watt ?
has any one converted yet? what are the positives and negatives?
thanks

I purchased the 2W G4 LED--12V--3000K WARM WHITE --80Ra, I thought these were dimmable but the package said they are not. Does any one know where I can find dimmable?
There are are few on the market but I need the ones that are dimmable for the salon area, the non dimmable will work for the rest of the boat.
thanks

If the fixtures are in good shape then replacing with a led substitute is easy and cheap thats what i did on my 97 405. If you want or need to replace the entire fixture theres several posts in this forum about the hera options since oems are not available anymore.

I bought a box of 10 LED replacement bulbs from Amazon for less than $15. Slightly brighter and way less heat or amperage. Brand name, Kindeep, style G4. 2 boxes should take care of you.

Yall need to verify your amazon links when posting much of the time you'll get a generic amazon link but not to what you were trying to show.

The trick to post Amazon links is to use the URL option.

The dream lights come with black and white wires. The old Hera lights had 2 whites. Am I to assume the black is positive and white neutral on new fixture. Can anyone provide wiring guidance please for this amateur?

Thank you
